THREE GEMS was established in April 2020, as a practice project and creative outlet, but has now transpired into a successful small business for over three years. Throughout my uni degree I have utilised THREE GEMS to test out skills I have learnt in a real world, business setting.
About the business:
THREE GEMS is named after my siblings and I…we were all coincidentally named after gemstones Ruby, Jade and Jasper.
THREE GEMS sources all beads, findings and packaging from within Australia, specifically Melbourne based businesses. I also source second hand jewellery, to re-purpose into new pieces, giving them a new lifespan. Our packaging is 100% sustainable, as they are made from 100% recyclable materials. THREE GEMS also uses 'Hero Packaging' for our mailer bags, which are home-compostable.
Each piece is handmade with love, by me! THREE GEMS pieces have 14ct gold filled clasps and findings, as well as a gold filled, hand-stamped tag. There is also an option for silver findings, consisting of 925 sterling silver, lobster clasps and tags. These pieces are made to last and to be cherished forever.
